Xbox360 problem?

Question

ok everythings goes fine until i play halo3 the problem is when i go to edit my halo player the tv screen starts to turn green a little on a side of the tv and when i exit out of editing my player the screen goes back to normal idk what could be happening and my xbox is in a horizontal position its also next to the tv should i move it from there?

I also have another question it hasnt been long since i had my 360 and sometimes it makes a weird noise now and then should i bee worried i play it 3-6 hrs a day or less and sometimes i dont play it at all what could be the problem.....

But your game should not be close to the T.V. and it needs lots of ventilation so as to keep it cool.Over heating can cause this also
