Xbox360 question!?

Why is it that the xbox360 is showed standing vertical in adverts and on the box and is standing vertical when being showed on preview and stuff like that, yet! Everyone says its best to stand it horizontal... ? Is this true!!!

having it standing is better for cooling because it is more ventilated

When mine was vertical the disc sometimes kept spinning when i ejected it, so i put it horizontal which solved this problem but then shortley after i got the red ring of doom.

ya it is my buddy has one and the disk somewhat falls out of tray and gets scratches on it all the way around. they do it prob for looks i guess but dont stand it up unless you want to buy 2 copies of each game. if seen it happen to many people! DONT have it vertical trust me
