Xc mountain bike choice?

Hi am looking to buy an xc mountain bike for between £1400-£2000

I have been looking at the trek ex8, Kona Dawg Deluxe and specialized Epic FSR Expert. What bike would you reccommend and what frame size would i need am 5ft 4inch

Go with the Epic, this has one of the best susp. designs and the FSR design is a far better performer than Kona. As far a frame size most likely a small (16") but go to a bike shop to be fitted as it will depend on how you are built. Your leg length and torso length will determine what size fits you best.

i have a Marin quake 7.3 quad xlt and its the best bike i have ever ever rode. On or off road .. as for your frame size , look up the manufacturers recommendations. But if i was to recomend a bike to you then Marin is top dog..

Look up the bikes on the makers websites and they should give you all the info you require and probably the best prices too..  good luck and ride like a storm...
