Good question, but I think for now, P2 still has an edge in terms of the market. But looking at the Sony EX1 and what it's capable of, I'd say that the P2 cameras have some competition. I'm not really in a position to recommend anything since I haven't used either system, but considering that the EX1 offers higher resolution than the HVX200, albeit at a lower bit rate, and the fact that SxS cards are theoretically faster than P2 cards, Sony's might have an advantage.
