  1. The only place you can go to is your manufactue website for your computer. And most computers that come with Vista installed, they are NOT able to support all of the XP drivers. You may find a few, but not all of them, which means you may find certain things no longer work if you do this.

Also beware that this can void the warranity on your computer.

It would have been better had you boughten a compute with XP already installed. They do exist, I know several sites that have brand new ones even.

  2. Well it depends....if you have a name brand computer such as Dell, Gateway, Compaq, etc.  Then you can log onto their website, and type in the model # of your computer (found on the front, or on the sticker on the side), and you'll be able to download all the drivers there.

If you have a custom computer, then go to the "Device Manager" and start writing down all the different brands and model #'s for your sound card, video card, and motherboard.  Then you'll have to go to each individual site and download the driver for XP.

  3. XP CD should contain the drivers you need, or at least some version that will get you up and running. Then you can update your various drivers later. You can also checkout driverpacks.net:

    http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/overv...

That has tons of drivers for various components packed in, and is almost sure to have what you need for your devices to run.
