Y! Age Issues?

I'm trying to extend the website that I'm designing and finding that the Y! page is explaining that I am not old enough to submit my website into their member's group, suggesting Yahooligans (for the kiddies) instead.

Well, I'm 19 and can't see why my age is giving me this much issues with a simple submission - that, and it seems that searching the 'help' engine is pathetic at best.

Any insight in what best approach to take would be appreciated.

If the response you received from Yahoo was in an email to you, you could reply to that email and explain that you are 19 years of age.  If it was an automatic response on the web, you could submit it again and include your age.

Or they may have thought your website would be great for submission to Yahooligans.  

The only other thing I can think of is to use the Yahoo Groups Help Form to get assistance from Yahoo staff.  Here is the link for the form:  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

Complete each question.  On Item #7, Use the drop-down arrow and select "Other".  Then state your problem in #8 .  

Scroll down to bottom and click on Send.
