Question:

Y-Connector Problem, Need Help FAST?

Ok, so I have this Y-Connector right? I want to play my CD player with my XBOX 360 audio at the same time. However, BOTH Y-Connector cords used (since you need a Y-C for Red and a Y-C for Blue) will only accept one audio source. So when the CD player is off, I can hear the XBOX, but when on, XBOX 360 does not stream through. I want to do this because my CD player has a radio built into it.

Please HELP!

  1. You will not be able to listen to the Xbox and radio at the same time.  When you have the radio on, the CD player is going to ignore the Xbox because you have told the CD player to use the radio.  You are not going to be able to do both with the equipment that you have.

If you CD player has a 'line out' RCA jack, plug that into the back of your TV left and select 'mono' on your radio and then plug your Xbox into your TV right (see if you can set the Xbox audio to mono also) and you should get some kind of sould from both at the same time.
