I've been trying to remember why Billy was shipped off. Wasn't it because he had a gambling problem and Jack helped him pay his debts. Then was shipped off to the House of Kim so it would be kept quite. Jack did tell Jill right?

I'm asking because Jill is making a big deal about David's gambling problem when her own kid has one.

  1. Yes, according to this excerpt from his profile on soaps.com, Jill knew of his gambling.

"It turned out that Billy had a bad gambling habit, and that he still owed some bookies in Miami a lot of money, so when no one would give him any, he stole and pawned an antique scrimshaw from the Chancellor estate. Kay discovered it and told Jill and Jack, so they gave him a job as NVP/Jabot Liaison for House of Kim, and shipped him off to Hong Kong."

Jill seems to have a selective memory at times...lol.

  2. Yep he did. I was wondering if they were going to mention that.

    Yes Jill knew.

    Maybe Billy knows Walter.

  3. I think you are right. Plus they wanted him to run Jabot overseas..

  4. jill is so self-absorbed I don't think she even remembers she has another son. how can she appoint cane to be in charge when he has no experience?

  7. Yes! Jill did know about billy's gambling habit at first. Then - Jill had know choice to face facts that her precious baby son was stealing from his grandmother house. So - jack paid off his gambling debt and sent home over seas to get him away from the trouble. Plus - jack also paid Te money to the bookies to protect the Abbott name and to help protect his brother from the trouble he was in.
