Y&R Improvement (Writing Staff)?

Personally I think the show is getting better, but I am new to y&r. Do you fellow fans think it is heading back to good story telling?

I hope so, I don't like what they have done to the Newman and Abbott family.  I sure don't like the way they have done with Cane/Lily/Chloe.  It would have been okay with Chloe being Ester's daughter, but I have to agree with others, Mrs. C should have known her.  Of course Ester has not seen her yet. And the way they did Victor and Nicky.  We all know that Nicky is the love of his life and for him to throw her over for someone he had just met, that is really out there.  And Jabot will always belong in the Abbott family minus Gloria.

Yep it's getting better in some areas, but the storylines of some are getting way to far-fetched! Why couldn't Chloe just be some hussy from the village and leave it at that, why make her Esther's daughter?

Even if Daniel and Amber are going thru a toughie, why have them sleep around, can't they just work out things without hitting the sack with other people? The sad thing is that these soap actually mirror real life so l guess we'll just have to live with it!

for some reason I agree with you. I actually find myself looking forward to Y&R next week because I want Adam to get what's coming to him. when a show makes you hate a character, they must be doing something right to cause such emotion.

No.  I've always love Y&R, but I haven't watched it that much in the past year or so, because I think the storylines have been a drag.

Yes, I think it is heading back to a good storyline.  Welcome to the Young and the Restless I hope you like it as much  as I do.  I have been watching it since the beginning.

They're using the same old storylines over and over- characters turning out to be SOMEONE's child, characters getting lost, etc. I'm bored with it! Now Chloe is Esther's daughter, Kate? Gimme a break!
