Y&R: Kevin Schmidt (Noah Newman) confims Age on Youtube?

Hi Guys!!!

I know everybody has been wondering how old is this Noah, some people have said he is 16 some said 18. Well as I was on Youtube yesterday watching this Y&R Vlog that I watch there was this comment that showed Kevin Schmidts page and I clicked on it and saw this Video it was about:

Kevin was in his Dressing room in the Y&R Studio and he has confirmed that even though he is 20 years old in real life he plays 15 year old Noah Newman.

So what do you think of this Actor playing Noah???

Do you like the Character of Noah now that he is older???

Do you still need time to figure it out???

I think this is a GREAT actor to play him and so far I have liked Noah even though I hated him before he went to Camp.

I think he did a great job as the now aged Noah, 'cause he is 20 years old in real life and I am sure the show will probably need a few teenage characters to back up. Maybe Noah should hook up with Ana. After all, she's Devon's little sister.

I'm gonna have to wait and see. I only saw him when he came back and spoke with Nick at the house then said hi to Sharon. Not much there for me to go on yet. I'll be positive til he acts stupid.

Does he have blond hair? If so, did he also have a make over at camp, the old Noah had dark brown hair.

Yes I had read somewhere how old the actor was that was going to be playing the new Noah and thought it might be a stretch, but so far I have only seen him once so its going to take me some time to see how I like him. I too thought the younger Noah was a spoiled brat. I have also read a spoiler that was posted about Noah getting into some trouble with drinking. I cant believe the writers are going to do that kind of storyline with him considering what happened to his sister Cassie. That is disappointing to me with that storyline

Thanks for finally straightening that out for us!

I watch Y&R on CBS, so we are a day behind you, but from what I've seen he's only been on for about a total of 10 minutes, so it's kind of hard to figure him out just yet, but from that, he seems okay so far.

I just hope he's more like his Dad than his Uncle (almost gagged when I typed that) Adam is. LOL!

This new Noah has only been on-screen, what once?  I need more time to see how he'll do.  The other Noah was too bratty for my taste!

so far he is alright...I had no idea though he is 20 in real life thank you for the info..Yes I am glad he is playing and older Noah now...and yes before I really get into judging I'd like to see him for about 1 month

Kewl Cory,,, he sure looks a lot younger than 20 .

I'm happy with the new and improved Noah ( from what I've seen so far ) and think his older character will bring in some fun , That bratty Noah from before drove me crazy with his disrespect toward his elders. ( even if it was his lines,,,he seemed to enjoy them too much )

WOW, Kevin Schmidt is 20 years old, I would never had thought he was that old, I wonder why they did not get someone around 16 to play that part, but I do like him.
