Y&R: What happened to Maggie?

Question

You know Detective Maggie Sullivan? Wasn't she hooked up with Paul or something? She was also in the Out of the Ashes storyline.

i know what u mean. she was there one day and gone the next. she and paul were dating and i thought he was going to propose to her but she just disappeared. i wish they would have at least let everyone know where she is supposed to be

well they really never talked about her anymore they wrote her out of soap and we didn't have a chance to say good-by to her, she will probably come back as maggie but a different person. lol i don't know ,,,

Good question! I forgot all about her! And she and Paul were hooking up. Did she just disappear or was there a moment where she and Paul said "goodbye"? It always cracks me up when things change like that!

The actress left the show back in the winter due to a reduction in pay. The writers just wrote her out of the show without any explanation. Probably she is out of town on business or something.

I wondered that also, it looks as if they can't find any one to have a spark with paul.

I was wondering about her when they found out David killed Ji. I though Paul could have at least called her to let her know her case has been solved.

i really liked her and paul, they seemed like a good match. i wish they hadn't written her off.

The actress that played her left the show a long time ago over her salary, and because she didn't think she was getting enough air time.

I think she is doing another TV show now, so I doubt she will be back anytime soon.

They've never really said where she went to on the show, so she probably went to the ladies room at the athletic club while she was having dinner with Paul, and just never came back. LOL!

Detective Maggie Sullivan was fired because she was former Executive Producer and Head Writer Lynn Marie Latham's best friend.  

When Latham's reign of terror ended, the new people in charge wanted to purge Genoa City of all remnants of Ms. Latham's tenure at Y&R, so they got rid of Maggie (who they felt did not fit in), they started allowing water bottles and fireplaces to be used (Latham was a staunch environmentalist and banned both), and they even tweaked the wardrobe of the show to allow the actors and actresses to wear more revealing clothing (Latham preferred business attire).

Yes she was with Paul. They never really talk about her on the show anymore. I haven't heard anyone ask Paul where she went or anything. I am not sure where she is  supposed to be. I know that the actress left the show because she wasn't getting enough of a storyline. It is another loose end that the writers need to tie up. I guess they just figure out of sight out of mind.

She's too busy solving unsolved mysteries in Genoa City to date Paul.  I would have thought maybe Y&R would have brought her out of the wood work when Heather miraculously solved Ji Mihn's murder case.
