Y&R fans---chloe/cane/kate etc...?

Question

OK is it just me or is Cane a biggest sucker in the world. I assume Chloe married him as Kate or here is another marriage of his that in invalid!!! The marriage would be invalid unless she did it with her legal name right. Poor Cane what is it with him and marriage?

Also, why would NO ONE recognize her as Kate? Obviously Jill would never have looked at a picture of her as she hates Esther but seriously has Esther never had her childs picture made? She never showed not one picture of her in 20+ years. Didn't know what her daughter did for a living? and didn't she have to fill out tax stuff to get paid? wouldn't someone question why Kate blah blah was called Chloe? Come on. Don't get me wrong I like that she is Esther's daughter I thought it was hilarious how everyone said NO Esther this is Chloe like she had gone stupid or something and she was like yes it is I would know my Kate....that was funny TV

I hear she really treats Esther badly. Brat.

Ya something is seriously wrong with Cane at times, Like how could he be so dumb. I was thinking that also how no body's recognize her but on the other hand she left when she was a little girl maybe toddler and Esther is the maid they never pay attention to her let alone her kid ya know. Poor Esther to have just a little B---- as a daughter!

2. I also want to know what Katherine didn't recognize her.  Jill I can understand, but Katherine is teh childs Godmother. Surely she would have seen pictures of her.

I have to admit I didn't see that one coming.  Cane is a total idiot, why  wouldn't he at least have a prenuptial agreement?  Hello!  Plus I don't believe for one second that she is carrying his child, come on.  I think it's going to be a great story line, but I can't stand how stupid they are making Cane out to be.

How do we know he isn't stuck in the marriage anyway Chloe/Kate is over 18 and could very well have legally changed her name without her mommy dearest knowing about it. You are right about why no one knew it was her though because the way Ester was gushing all over her about how beautiful she is etc she would have shown her picture around to everyone. If she did change her name legally it would explain why Ester has not been able to get in contact with her.

Really good questions and they need to be answered. She could have changed her name. Proud parents always hand out pictures of there kids when they graduate from anything! She does treat Esther very badly, she's a self centered money grubbing bi*ch. As for Cane he's got to be the most gullible man I've ever seen. :~)

Soaps have a way of connecting people. Look how Jill turned out to be Katherine's daughter. I'm glad she's connected to other people on the show now, but Esther is so sweet. I can't imagine Chloe being her daughter. When the truth comes out will Esther and Jill's feud worsen? Should we call her Kate or Chloe now? I personally like the name Chloe better. She is such an easy fun person to hate on the show. I really hope they don't make Cane fall for her. I just want the truth to come out soon.

I think this whole storyline is stupid because no one is asking ?s and no one is asking for proof of the baby heritage . If cane falls in love with chloe I think I will spit up . Gawd would that not be awfull . I think they are all being stupid where chloe is concerned .

I asked a similiar question last week about nobody recognizing her.  The writers must think we're really dumb to believe that a godmother wouldn't recognize her own godchild.  I am so ready for this story to be over.

I feel the same way you do. Does Cane not have any kind of brain in his head? I would think that the marriage would be invalid by using a different name, but maybe while she was gone she legally changed her name. Who knows, its going to be interesting to see how this storyline unfolds. I would have thought that Mrs C would have recognized her, but maybe it has been so long since she saw a picture of her that she didnt. I think Mrs C helped pay for her boarding school and made sure she had the best of everything. I think Chloe set this whole thing up so she could get her hands on the money. I heard she treats Esther badly too, she is a spoiled brat thats for sure!!

okay, at first Cane was gorgeous,s**y and even a good business man. then came young miss Lily, maybe falling for her just made him turn into a 19 yr old him self. don't get me wrong I love cane and lily together, and i hope they get back together but as soon as he fell in love he's gotten debrained!!!! please bring back the real s**y aussie that lily and we all fell for!!!!!! any one know some writers??

Yes I think that Cane should get it annulled and kick Chloe our as she signed her name on the marriage licence Chloe not Kate.  And she treats her mom Esther like s***.
