Y & R fans...today they said Esther's daughter Kate is Chloe..when did Esther have a daughter?

Or did they just start her with one? I am sure she could not afford to send her to bording school...unless Mrs. C. paid for it. Who was the daddy?

Long ago I think Esther had an affair and became pregnant or was it a guy named Rex?No I think Rex was Mrs. C man... Someone stole somebody from someone back then. I even think Esther got married or is still married.I think Esther came into a little money back then anyway he left her broke and with nut child...BLESSINGS YAHOO

Kate Tina Valentine is the daughter of Esther Valentine and Tiny, the Plumber. She is named for Katherine Chancellor. When Esther married Norman Peterson, Kate joined her mother at the wedding. However, she is rarely seen on screen and it has been mentioned she is attending boarding school courtesy of Katherine Chancellor, her godmother. However, Chloe Mitchell (who had been on Young and the Restless since February 2008) was recognized by Esther on August 29th, 2008 as Kate.

Yeah...they told you but what I can't believe is that after footing the private school bill since "Kate" was a very little girl why didn't she get a picture of her graduation or IDK attend the child's high school or college graduations.

Esther used to get a bit more storyline.  Back with Tiny (the plumber) and she even was in a triangle with Jill and I think a guy who became the chauffeur for awhile.  He was a criminal and had to leave.  

Goes to show you that she has more in her life than the Chancellour mansion and her bowling league huhh

Wow! This was back in the day when Esther had a part playing a more interesting maid for a short period of time. She had a boyfriend (some type Maintenance Man) and her  character had a story line. Its been so long I forgot she had a child, of course Mrs.C  paid for Chloe or Kate  or whatever to go away to school you would have had to been a long time fan of Y&R to see this in the making

Back in the 90's Ester had a one night stand with a man named Tiny   ( i think)  and then when she had the baby Ester named her after Mrs. Chancelor (Katherine).  Mrs. Chancelor is her god mother and supported her through boarding school ect.
