Y am i asked 2-3 times in a day to update . reason (control file is missing).how can i aviod it.?

i have avg anti virus free.y is it always the control file is missing???

  1. AVG is asking you to update?

    For some reason its corrupt (either an error in your install or a virus).

    YOU need to keep your computer updated (both Operating System (tools > windows update) and software (especially your AV (both the program and your definitions).

    Try uninstalling AVG and re downloading the latest version!

    You should also think about getting REAL AV such as ESET NOD32 or TrendMicro vice the free c**p your using!
