  1. Women can't be priests because it would break the monopoly blokes have on the job.

Let's face it, being a priest is a nice little earner.

You get to be important, boss a lot of people around and tell them they'll go to h**l if they're not nice to you ~ plus people 'give generously' so you can live for free, not pay any taxes and still drive a new car.

Why would the boys want to give that up?

No wonder they're fighting hard to keep it in their hands.

Personally, I think the best way to protest is stop believing in their god.

Takes away their power over you just like snapping your fingers.

Try it ~ I promise, in a year or two you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

    Cheers :-)

  2. What If?

Why are we supposed to care about some peoples delusions that just never seem to die.

  3. I think it's pretty obvious that the Catholic church and those that don't allow women to lead their churches are sexist and usually homophobic-which is ironic since the Catholic church is made up of lots of g*y men and women so they're hating their own preists and nuns but whatever. Religious organizations have been an effective tool to enforce sexism and racism and homophobia and have a huge effect on politics as a result as well as the social lives of not just believers-but the poor unbelievers stuck in a society with people who believe in fairy tales.

  4. Women used to be priests and religious leaders in Christianity.  This only changed about 400 years after the start of the religion.  Women can be pastors now in some protestant sects but Catholicism is still holding out.  Not for much longer, I think.  It'll eventually go back to the way the religion started--with women in equal positions.

  5. You keep asking this same stupid question, why?

The objection to women priests is based on passages in the Bible like the one where Paul says that women should keep silent in the churches.  Also on the fact that the Apostles were all men.

As far as I am aware, there is no passage in the Bible that suggests that black men can't be priests.

Catholic women who want to lead a religious life can become nuns.

  6. ITZ IN THE BIBLE U WUD KNOW DIS IF U ACCTUALLY READ IT INSTEAD OF YOU FEMI NOVELS

  7. The Catholic church forbids this.

  8. Hasn't this been asked yet?

    Anyway....

Catholisism is a large almost cult like version of Christianity (a great majority of Catholics aren't really Christians). The reason that women can't be priests is that a long long long time ago Pope Something the Somethingth said something from the 'throne' that made it impossible for women to be priests (and when the Pope says something from the throne it is concidered to be from God). And no Pope after him has not refuted this from the throne (it also has to be from the throne to be removed you see).

Also people think of blacks more of as Southern Baptist preachers, not Catholic priests. They are smart enough to actually stay away from the Catholic religion.

  9. They did for a while, then they started running low on members, so they allowed it. All women need to do is boycott the church for a while. After they see how much bake sale sales plummet, they'll be willing to make them bishops just to get them back.

  10. They didn't used to have black priests, but everyone figured it out eventually. I think some denominations allow female priests; the others are just a bit slow to catch on, but hopefully they'll eventually change their rules (just like they did to include racial minorities).
