Y do people care what other people think of them?

seriously, life's short. people arent gonna look back and remember u by what u wore ur fish year. i say do watever u want, if people wanna hate, let them waste their time while ur out there living life and not having to worry about being to fat, too skinny, or anything else that people waste their time worring about.

I like your advice. However, it does take maturity to really, genuinely not care about other people. People will judge no matter what. Life is way too short.

Teen years and early adult years are when people mostly worry about it. As you get older you learn exactly what you said. Life is too darn short to worry about it and if people don't like what you wear, then too bad for them. That attitude, and I don't mean it to be negative or "in your face" comes with maturity and experience. Even when you tell kids not to worry about it they still do, peer pressure is not easy at that age. Eventually you grow out of it.

It's human nature. I'm sure you care what people think about you in some situations too.
