Y do ppl care so much about the lives of celeberties?

Am I the only one who thinks it's because they don't have lives of their own?

The media has heightened celeb's lives so much and splatter them all over the magazines, it's in our faces constantly.  It's up the person to buy into the hype or ignore it.  I'm somewhere in between!

I think it breaks up the routine for us. We can't even imagine that kind of clothes, money, salaries and changing partners is like a square dance.

I have a life of my own (and a very good one), I guess that is my fantasy world of pretend....just to see what they can shock me with next.

And truthfully, no I do not care, nor do I go to concerts or movies, it is just something to amuse me...cheap entertainment to read while in the grocery line at the super market...lol....thank you

Well, sometimes I'm interested in a celebrity's life because, well, yeah, my life is a bit boring right now--it's fun to see what the rich and famous are doing and sometimes to wish it were me.

Another thing is that seeing the c**p they get themselves into sometimes makes me realize that the little scrapes I get into at times really aren't that bad, especially since I don't have the paparazzi watching my every s***w up.
