Hi! Well, people tell lies for various reason; to get away from a situation or punishment, to get what they wanted, to make other people believe what they wanted to say, to cheat, to cover their guilt, to gain sympathy, to put other people in trouble, to prevent losses, to get approval for their actions, to salvage a relationship, to win over somebody, to make other people feel sorry or guilty, to get good discounts or certain advantages, to appear smart and well-informed, etc. These are but some of the instances and there are alot more to list....so on and so forth. Just a little sharing....
