the prize is usually over a million dollars.  lottery tickets cost a dollar each.

so you're risking losing 1 dollar for a chance to gain over 1,000,000 dollars.  that's a pretty good risk reward ratio.  but with so many people playing the chances arent too good, but hey it can happen.

If you don't play, you'll never win.  I'm willing to take that chance.  Two bucks a week isn't much to lose.
