  1. because thats what they are used to calling it...yeah it was last year but its the same reason old timers still call sprint cup the winston cup cars...

  2. I'll call it growing pains. It was the Busch Series for 26 yrs so most get used to that. A lot of long time sponsorship are ending in NASCAR nowadays

-Winston ended their sponsorship of the Cup Series

-Union 76 ended their gas sponsorship of NASCAR's Series

-Busch ended their sponsorship of the 2nd-tier series

-Bud ended their sponsorship of the pole-award for NASCAR's Series

-Craftsman will end sponsorship of the Truck Series in 2008

It'll take some getting used to saying Sprint, Sunoco, Nationwide, Coors, & who ever may sponsor the Truck Series.

  3. it is still the busch series to them just because it changed hands doesnt mean everyone is going to call it that... it is still the busch series... just like everyone still call the indianapolis raceway park  even though it is now the oreily raceway park...

  4. Cuz them along with me are tired of the stupid sponsors changing every year it seems.  (And yes, I know the "Busch" series didn't change last year, it was the whole Winston --> Nextel --> Sprint but it's still annoying cuz I pay attention to them both.)

  5. Because it's a habit.  It was the Busch series for a very long time, and some people just let it slip.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  6. They race ,there not scientist

  7. yeah, it just changed to the "nationwide" series this year.  i think it's probably because those guys are just so used to saying "busch" series that they just let it slip out.
