Y do they sat that Aquarius's and Taurus's aren't compatible?

I read that Libra and Taurus are supposed to be compatible,and Libra is an air sign,so probably Aquarius is pretty much compatible with Taurus.Not 100% sure though.

i am a taurus with quite a few aquarius close friends we get along fantastically! i do not agree at all that we are not compatible in fact i think we are extremely compatible, we understand each other and have very easy time understanding our own personal ways and sense of humors. i think aquarius love our social leadership ways with the ability to be just as private and grounded, and we love thier gentle sweet emotional sides, even if they disappear and detach from time to time.

Aquarians are not "supposed" to get along with Taureans because we're both fixed signs meaning that we're both very stubborn and stuck in our ways. When you add in the fact that Aquarians are rebellious and Taureans are extremely bull-headed that could mean that these two signs are constantly clashing. However, I think that any two signs can get along if they really take the time to understand what makes the other one tick. I'm Aquarius and my best friend of 12 years is a Scorpio and we're not supposed to be compatible at all but we love each other like sisters. We'll always be there for each other =)
