From wat i have gatherd is dat, the chinese police shot some prottesters so now ppl dont want the Olympic games 2 go ahead. What is ur understanding?

I think the protesters are all ignorant and don't know what they are doing. Tibet Independence and Olympic are different topic and different nature of work. They should never mix together.

The olypic torch represtents peaceful spoting events- meaning that competitors are allies. The torch has high media attention too, so the protesters are more publisized.

Many people have a beef with China and their human rights record.  So the protests near the torch are protests against China, which is where the Olympic Games are to be held this year.
