It's a parody of 'Y2K'. It was a part of his gimmick. Now he's just Chris Jericho.

As, Mr. Jericho stated last night on Raw, he wants to be referred to as Chris Jericho, not Y2J Chris Jericho. That was a name from an era when he was trying to be like by the fans. He is no longer trying to be liked by the fans. Y2J was part of Chris Jericho's Gimmick when he came to the WWF/WWE from WCW. WWE had a Millenium Clock set up for his as part of the Y2K scare, there was fear that computers would malfunction as clocks shifted from 1999 to 2000. Y2J was part fo Chris Jericho's Gimmick.

The Year 2000 problem (also known as the Y2K problem, the millennium bug, the Y2K bug, or simply Y2K) was the result of a practice in early computer program design that caused some date-related processing to operate incorrectly for dates and times on and after between December 31, 1999 and January 1, 2000 and on other critical dates which were billed "event horizons". This fear was fueled by the attendant press coverage and other media speculation, as well as corporate and government reports. People recognized that long-working systems could break down when the "...97, 98, 99..." ascending numbering assumption suddenly became invalid. Companies and organizations world-wide checked and upgraded their computer systems.

Jericho debuted in 2000 and refered to himself as Y2J, replacing the K in Y2K with the initial of his name: Jericho. He was supposed to debut as a heel and thought of himsef as a problem that all of the other wrestlers should find as a threat. But, nobody treated him like a heel and instead he was cheered for.

It's a play on words. Many people were fearing the Y2K computer bug, and Jericho very cleverly used a slight variant of "Y2K" to come up with his "Y2J" moniker.
