okay lets say manny doesnt get traded h**l probably be a free agent next year cuz the sox arent picking up the options, so maybe we get him and we trade matsui for some prospects

That wud be bad, but then there would be to many good players on the yankees and what happen with mark lorretta (he was an all star and got benched) will happen to one of those yankee outfielders. And why get rid off someone like matsui who hits 300+ most of the time and has 100 rbis for some1 who hits 30 hr and is a hassle?

  4. No, I would not agree to having Manny on the Yankees.  First of all the Yankees have way too much class to bring a bozo like him to New York.  Manny, even with his impressive numbers, is on the down sign of his career.  He carries too much baggage and would be too much of a distraction.

    His present teammates can't stand him.  I can't imagine any new teammates warming up to him either.  

    The Yankees need pitching.  That should be their first priority.

    If Manny were to ever don the Pinstripes, he would have to adjust, not the Yankees. You either do it the Yankee way or, you don't do it at all.

  11. As a Sox fan, I'll say, take him. But I'll be laughting when the Yankee's have problems with him, at the same time, he's at the end of his career. So really, it won't be a great idea.

  12. no, I don't agree.  I don't want Manny Ramirez as a Yankee.  I don't care how good he is; he's infantile and doesn't deserve to wear the pinstripes.   Then trade him away for Matsui; are you mad???  

    Let the redsox deal with him.
