The SP program is when the kids go to a class with an average of 85%. I was in regular class and I think I can't do well in the SP program. What will help me do better? Is the SP class more challenging? Will the teachers be meaner? Will I be able to pass the succeding of an SP level? PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE!

  2. Well, I've never been in a SP program..... but I can give you some advice on helping you to do better..... study, study, study! make sure you study so you dont forget anything and you understand everything! Education is VERY important.... and congratulations! :)   keep it up!

  3. YAY!

just do your best because youre there.

remember that if u cant handle it, you can always go back

but then you'll see that it really is worth to be in this harder class because it challenges you and works you to your full potential

    good luck and have fun!

  4. I suggest you go to class every day (if possible), do all your assigned homework, and eat three square meals a day, to start.  You can also do your own study on the subjects at hand, by buying books that cover the subject, and studying them on your free time.  You don't mention the grade, however subject matter books come for all levels.

Regarding  the temperament of teachers, they are human too, and getting a good teacher can be like a tossed coin.

With the Federal program of No Child Left Behind teachers now have to be certified and reach a level of "Advanced Standing" in a specified period, in every subject matter that  they teach.  If a teacher is not certified in a particular subject matter and is teaching in that subject matter, the school must now notified the parent of children in that class.

The Federal Government Department of Education Web site has many resources for students and School Districts, so check it out.  Also your state Department of Education also has a website available for the general public.  Most local school district, now have websites, you and your parent should explore these websites.

Good luck.  Learn to enjoy your education, especially if you intent to go to college.  Added up you remaining years of education in high school level plus at least 4 years of college, that totals the amount of years you'll be in the educational mode, so learn to enjoy it.  Wee!  School, I Love it!

  5. You'll do fine, they wouldn't have placed you into the class if you couldn't handle it :]
