  1. um, is the pope catholic?

  2. Yes, of course it is,and like the first poster said your years late in asking this.

  3. Okay, I'll play the role of the antagonizer and say "No". Equal rights for women is a big "No-no"! =P

  4. Yes.

And what I think we're really looking for now isn't equal rights, but equal treatment and equal protection.

  5. Uh, this is kind of a no brainer.

    Is meth bad for you?

    Is the sky blue?

    Should murder be illegal?

Livefree: You dont already get equal treatment and protection? As far as i heard, there are actually special acts in place to protect women from violence.

I think you may be off the path a little.

  6. I'm kind of surprised this is still up for discussion considering the beginnings of it happened in the late 1700s with discussions on Suffrage in the British Parliament (thanks Mill!)

    But yes.

  7. wrong question. unequal rights for women is a very bad thing.

  8. Yes.

  9. Isn't this question about 30 years to late.

  10. Depends. Women's Rights have helps a small minority of talented women achieve greater personal success, but it's not clear that society as a whole is radically better or that women as a whole are radically happier.

  11. Equal rights, yes. Every human being is of equal worth.

But the gender neutralisation and discrimination against men that seems to go along with women's rights movements? No way.

  12. i think because we don't think with our Vaginas we should rule the world!!!

jkjk i think men and women should have a relationship in which they can both be in charge at different times

  13. YES

  14. It is, but I'm sorry to break this, the idea has already been had. Equality under law already exists, but some people seem to want more than that; they want flawless rights.

I admit that the law isn't always put properly into practice, but the way some women complain, you'd think the women's rights movement had never happened.

  15. Uh, yes.  Not sure why I wouldn't.

  16. Yes I do!  I posted a Question about Afrrimative Action and it is the Same as Qual Rights earlier and Most said that It should be done away with.  As a female Veteran, it just goes to show how some people are not informed, thinking Affimative Acition is Only for Women of Color, While Mostly Caucasians have benefitted from it! Have a nice day!
