YET ANOTHER gerbil question xD?

I promise this will be my last gerbil question.

lol.

These are the things my gerbil currently has (food, toys, etc.)

Ecotrician, essential blend for hamsters and gerbils

Kaytee TREATSTERS fruit and berry snack bar for small animals

Colorful chew blocks

Pink little cove castle thingy

Small barrel with holes in each side

Exercise wheel

Exercise ball

Is this good or should we be feeding her something else? And giving her different toys?

I've never had a gerbil before...I've been doing research though.

Ecotrition is fine for gerbils. It has a fairly nice variety. The treat sounds alright.

Are any of the toys plastic? If so, remove them and replace them with wood toys. Gerbils are big chewers. They can and will chew up plastic. If ingested, plastic could cause a blockage.

Is the exercise wheel wire mesh or hard plastic? If it's a metal one with bars running parallel around the wheel, replace it. These can be very dangerous. It could catch tails, break legs, etc.

Gerbils, generally, don't like the exercise ball. However, if she likes it, it's fine. One of my gerbils loves it, whereas the other hates it.

Be sure to provide lots of different cardboard items for her to chew on. Toilet paper and paper towel rolls are a huge hit with gerbils. Save them! Cereal boxes, fast food drink holders, and other similar items are good as well. Just be sure they're clean.
