YORK! things to do in York :)?

Hello,

I am going to york next week for a holiday and I am looking for some idea of what me and my boyfriend can do - Does anyone have any ideas?

You should go to the York Dungeon.

York Cathedreal is nice.

York Castle Museum.

there obviously alot of shops there

try the york dungeons i went, its really great really scary too, and thats when i went with school, usually with your friends you don't get scared!

go to the jorvick centre, its alot of money as i remember but it is quite good, not amazing but i spose its worth the visit

Go to the york dungeons, The jorvick centre (its proper good, you go through the viking village on  ride thing and its so cool, you even get the smells blown out at you that you would have smelled in those days)

And theres this old street cled the shambles i think its so cool, you can reach out of the upstairs window of one of the buildings and touch the other across the street =]

The railway museams good, even if you arent a history or train person it is actually still really interesting

theres loads to do, jus depends what suits you

Take a boat trip on the river Ouse.

Walk the walls

Visit the Minster (it's a Minster, not a Cathedral, sweetheart)

Visit the Railway Museum

Have tea and Fat Rascals at Betty's

Walk by the Ouse

Have a drink at the King's Arms, and look for the flood level markers on the wall of the bar
