YOU WOULD SUCCEED to INVENT a FASCINATING BUT BELIEVABLE CHARACTER?

Do you have enough imagination and good sense to succeed? you can be also synthetic, a sentence (but i hope someone is also more generous). I only say to you that the character is a young woman, but she has a problem of nationality, that you will have to invent. she cannot be of north-american/english/australian (of english mother language) of italian/french/spanish/portuguese (of neo-latin mother language). Second most important dilemma, a job enough “cool and fascinating but believable”( this is the true difficulty of the character.. you try to resolve the problem with your imagination!). THANKS A LOT INDEED to all those that will be amused to answer to this game/opinion poll.

You would succeed?   That is a Question.

A woman, about 20 from Iraq, spent the last few years going to college here in the states.  Back home she had gone through many trials and hardships, but her good academic standards and hard work helped her get a scholarship.  When she first got here, she new the language, but Americans never speak English, they speak slang, so she had a difficult time understanding everyone.   At first, she kept a scarf on her head all the time, she wanted to cover her face and hide behind the security of knowing her emotions were always shielded from view by the cloth.  Luckily, she went to a smaller liberal college, and most people there were open minded and tolerate of other cultures.

She makes Friends with some of the other women there.  She finally gets the courage to remove her scarf for them, and realized it felt so good to be free and not hidden anymore.

She continues through school, eventually ditching the scarf altogether.

She is now a journalist, traveling to other countries to document the hardships that many women face, merely because they are women.

i can say that the young woman is a czech who travels and works as a private investigator following "big-time" people like celebrities and politicians, and she gets a low-down on what they're up to, like what happens after celebrities go to rehab, how do they make a comeback, why did britney shave her head, etc. she releases these "news" anonymously, and so, there. she doesn't leave us guessing to the dirty tricks high-society people are up to.
