Question:

YTB calls their members Travel Professionals?

I viewed the YTB video just the other night and was shocked by another pyramid scheme. They call their members “Travel Professionals”. Pointing to a website does NOT make you a professional. Years of hard work, passion and dedication in the industry makes you a professional. Delivering first hand experiences and advice to your clients makes you a professional. I hope this industry wakes up and comes down HARD on these card mills and starts giving back the respect the true “Travel Professionals” deserve.

  1. YTB also competes against itself.

One night a had  one of their agents call me

and try to get me to join.  Then he told me i better get in

with him OR i might ended up with a nuckle head sponsor and never move up the line.  Then i talked to another agent and he told me to get in with him because he can put 9 people under me.  I told him a had already talked to one agent but he said to forget about him and get in on his offer.

That's when i found out that they are full of IT>.. no offense but when you have a company that competes against itself is doom to fail.  I think is alot of BS.  Many more ways to make money online then having to beg people to join you.

  2. Let's face it, the only reason YTB has won awards has nothing to do with being true travel consultants, it is ALL about volume. Training? Yes, they do train on how to get more and more people signed up under you so you can make more money, it has NOTHING to do with experience, NOTHING! YTB has a bad reputation in the agent industry of being just another card mill. Point to the website and become a travel agent. I would like to see what would happen to those "Experienced" YTB agents when a emergency situation comes up or crisis and they have NO idea what to do...what do they tell their clients..."Point to the website!"

  3. YTB provides professional training for their travel agents. The company has won Carnival Cruises' Pinnicle Award for customer satisfaction more than once. You don't get happy and satisfied customers by not knowing what your doing, much less win top awards from top companies for it.  If you would do your due diligence and educate yourself on the company's sucess and growth, as well as learn the difference between legitimate network marketing and illegal pyramid operations,

you may be able to make a logical and fair evaluation of the company.

You don't become one of the top 25 travel companies in America unless you do things right. The market shift in the Travel Industry is the internet. In the last 10 years, over 200,000 traditional brick and mortar travel agencies have gone out of business. The remaining ones that do not see this market shift may as well own a buggy whip factory.

Are you one of the top 25 travel companies in America?
