YTB vs Traverus?

which travel agency is better? which is better to join?

I went with YTB because of the compensation plan and the fact that I tried to get someone from Traverus to answer some questions and still have yet to hear from anyone (8 months later)  Plus, I just believe in the leadership of YTB.  I've met a couple of them now and think that they are genuine and good men.  But that's me.  Good luck with your decision.

Hi,

There are many ways to market a small business on the web.  You can buy banner ads, text links, or use PPC.  However, the best way is to get listed in a bunch of portals. Portals and directories are like phone books, and they often provide a lot of traffic because they tend to rank high on Google.

This portal is giving away a free business card holder for lising your business (I got mine a few days ago in the mail).  If you want to know about some other portals, just let me know.

Ask both companies for a copy of their Compensation plan (not a video) and the Policies and procedures ...  READ them.  

Just some tips- a company that will not provide these documents in writing PRIOR to your joining have something they don't want you knowing.

Take the written comp plans and compare.  Take the P&P's and compare - chose the one that is designed for YOUR success - not protection of the company.
