YZ85 piston question?

How much is a piston kit for a yz85 and will i be able to get it brand new since the 2 strokes have stopped selling

you should be able to get a piston kit for under 100 bucks.  you'll also need a top end gasket kit (about 20 bucks) and a scotch pad to de-glaze the cylinder wall.  get a factory manual and do the work yourself, dealers way overcharge for labor and 2 stroke top ends are very easy.

i got my 80 bored out to a 110 for 250$ bucks and i  just sent the motor out to get down

2 strokes are have not stopped being built yet its mostly honda who have stopped

A piston kit is roughly around $200 -$300

A top end rebuild could cost the parts (piston,rings,) (barrel bored out possibly) plus the mechanic who might charge an extra few hundred

I have seen the 08 yz 80 or mabey 85 it was not sure so parts brand new should be easy to find
