LMAO, Poor Alex.... "Erm, I'm a little nervous..." Poor guy, I really couldn't understand him when he gave his speeches.

Bruce Boudreau....can you talk about not being ready? lol. He really didn't know what he was saying. When they said his name I thought my dad was going to have a heart attack. We all expected Babcock to win. We had been arguing all day because besides being Pittsburgh fans my dad is a huge Canadiens fan so he wanted Guy and me being a Capitals fan wanted Bruce.

Did you expect Babcock to win? Everyone I talked to did.

Also about the Vezina.....I've already listened to a few people whine about it. About how Nabby should have gotten it, but I couldn't be happier Marty recieved it. Who knows how much longer he'll be with us.....this really could be his last chance. Nabby and Henrik are both young and have a good future......they'll be back for sure.

Marty already has a bunch. He was not better this year, it's a yearly award. He should not have won it this year.

Boudreau? I sure expected him to win. Babcock my have a slightly higher winning percentage, but he had a lot more to work with. The capitals went form last in the conference to first in the division in a half a season. That's d**n impressive, even if the hurricanes collapsing helped.

The others are all good choices that were pretty much exected.

I got a real good laugh out of Ovechkin's "speech". Hilarious!

I expected Babcock to win, but Boudreau did so much more with the Capitals than Babcock did with the Red Wings in terms of improvement.

Happy Marty won, and agree with you that Nabby and Henrik are young and will have many more years to get the chance.

I thought everyone who won deserved to win,

I was upset Nabokov didn't win though, I thought he really deserved it.

I though for sure Babcock was gonna win, but Boudreau deserved it for sure.

Alexander seemed very nervous, which was weird because shouldn't he be use to the media? haha

I felt so bad for Datsyuk he was soooo nervous, he is so shy!

I thought Boudreau really deserved it.  Coaching's a little easier when you've got Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Osgood, Hasek, Lidstrom, and Zetterberg playing for you.

Obviously Boudreau had Ovechkin, but before Boudreau joined the team the Capitals were in last place.  It's not a coincidence that once Boudreau got to the team, the wins started coming, and the Caps actually made the playoffs, after being in LAST at one point in the season.  The Capitals had good players, but Boudreau motivated them and brought chemistry to the team which ultimately brought the wins.

No i dont disagree, and thank you for being on marty's side, it seemed like i was the only one.  it was probably otugh for ovie since is english is not good, hopefully it gets better as time goes on so the nhl can promote him more,

ya that was funny! I understood him but i couldn't understand Datsyuk.

Ya i did expect Babcock to win but Bruc deserved it.

I disagreed with the Selke and Lady byng I wanted Zetterberg to win the Selke and St.louis to win the lady byng.

Convientley Datsyuk won both those awards.
