Yacine Brahimi, the Rennes midfielder, has revealed he is ready to join English Premier League side Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old playmaker c*m winger feels the Ligue 1 side are not making use of his services as they should and is determined to move to a side where he will be guaranteed regular play time. Aston Villa have shown interest in Brahimi and he is interested

Brahimi started just six games in the League for Rennes last season, which has the player convinced he needs to make a move away to secure regular football for himself. He has identified Aston Villa as one of the possible clubs he could join in the current
summer transfer window.
Brahimi said while speaking to reporters:
“They do not count on me at Rennes. With the style of play, there are times where I don't play - our relationship is broken now and I have reached the point of no return.”

However, it is not yet certain where he will end up even though Aston Villa are currently favourites
to land him.
Brahimi began his career with local side ASB Montreuil, going on to join CO Vincennois after four years. Just two years later he earned selection to the Clairefontaine academy, which was aimed at polishing his skills and developing him before he signed a
professional contract.
During that time he played for Vincennois over the weekends, spending his last year at Clairefontaine at Camp des Loges, which is the youth training centre of Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. Despite interest from various top clubs, Brahimi decided on
Rennes, signing a youth contract with the club.
He revealed his reasons for joining Rennes:
“In Rennes, the academy gives much importance to the schoolwork.” He continued,
“It was a warranty for my parents. They advised me to choose Stade Rennes. That way, I could continue my football training while preparing my Baccalaureat.”
