Yahoo 360 picture???

So I added a picture, and I want to make it my Avatar person..... but it doesn't show up??

Yahoo! 360 I went to your profile and your id picture is showing there, so that tells me it is a problem on this end of the trail.

If you have not went to your Answers profile page and clicked onto " Edit My Profile" and saw the options there when the page comes up to " Use my Avatar"... " Use my 360 Id Photo" , or " Use no Picture" and chosen " Use my 360 Id Photo" try that and save it.. if this is not given a solution..

You are in need of putting your Yahoo 360 page into the public setting and activiating your simple url. This is a very simple thing to do.. Go to the toolbar at the top of any of the 360 Pages and choose Settings.. and then on every drop down privacy option choose Public and then save it at the bottom of the page.. on this same page is an option to activate your simple URL .. put a check in the box beside it and then save it..

Now you are ready to try to get the Answers Profile thing to edit and save your 360 id photo to your Answers profile..

IF all this stuff doesn't work.. honey you got a big bug in your page and you can leave a message for yahoo 360 by going to the top of your 360 page and choosing Beta Feedback.

wen u do it save it then u have it

load jpeg picture in ur 360 & set as primary

then

in ur answer profile

click edit my info

click "use my 360 picture"

click preview & save

I saw your 360 page and if that is the photo that you want to show up here on Answers then you go to My profile and then Edit my info in the box that shows the avatar. you should see that photo in the middle and click the little circle that says use my 360 photo and then click preview and then click ok and that is all there is to it.

If you are wanting to put your Yahoo Avatar up on your 360 page (the little cartoon avatar) then go to MY PAGE and click on EDIT PERSONAL PHOTOS and where you see the browse option to upload your photos there is an option that says use my yahoo avatar and then it will bring it up. If you want the Yahoo Avatar as your main 360 photo then you click the little circle that says SET AS PRIMARY and save it.

read these instructions and make sure you did everything right.  You have to make the 360 image your "primary image", and save.

Then you have to be sure to go to your profile here, and edit your info and choose the 360 image as the one you want to use as your avatar.  THEN you have to go to the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Here are the detailed instructions:

You put the image you'd like to use as your avatar on your 360 page. You may already have one. If you do, you would be able to access it from your profile. Just click on your avatar (or "My Profile" on the upper right). The 360 option will be on the upper right. If not, you'd need to create one.

To add a photo to 360: Go to your 360 page. Click on "My Page" that's near the top. You'll see your photos (or where they would be if you don't already have photos there) and the option to "Edit Personal Photos". Click on that, then you will see where you can add photos. Click on "Choose File" to find the image on your computer. Once you add the image, click on "Save". That'll bring you back to the group of images. If you want to set the new image as primary to use here, click on "Edit Personal Photos" again. Click where it says "Set as Primary", then click "Save.

Then to use your 360 image here for your avatar, go to your profile (Click on your avatar or click "My Profile" on the upper right of the page), the click on "Edit my info". Scroll down to where you choose what image you want to use and choose the 360 one. Then click on "preview" and "OK".

CHOOSING BEST ANSWER
