I read that Yahoo! was the main reason s**+ Tao, a Chinese reporter was jailed for 10 years after he leaked a document to a website that supported a chinese democracy. The document was a warning to reporters that they shouldn't report about the 15th aniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests. The document referred to it as "the june 4th event". China then demanded that the person responsible be found, and yahoo! handed over the information no questions asked. s**+ Tao was jailed for ten years. This happened back in 2004, so its old news, but i only just found out. I wont be using yahoo! anymore and my question is, now that you know, will you?
