is anyone else offended that Yahoo says that the US has no official language??

Why be offended.  USA doesn't have an official language.  Like Australia, you are classed as an English speaking country!

Truly.  They're still debating if English should be named our official language.  If we are still a melting pot, why bother?  We should be proud to be the only truly successful multi-nationality-lingual country in the world that doesn't have to endure constant internecine bickering and warfare (Russia). We also do not have a national religion.  Or a national nationality, except Greco-American, Hungarian-American, Spanish-American, German-American, Irish-American, et al, yet we're all eye-to-eye ever-loving Americans.
