Yahoo Chess bug or cheat?

I was playing yahoo chess awhile ago (me, being the host of the table) and suddenly during the middle of the game, my chess window suddenly closed (with my rating being deducted as well)..

Is there a cheat for yahoo chess? or is this just a bug?

Hi...

I can't comment on the "cheat" thing, but it's possible. As for the rating going down, that happens automatically if you leave a game halfway through (considering most people leave a game if they're losing LOL).

Did you sign in using your messenger? Maybe your browser just crashed and took with it your rating... but the "cheat" factor can NEVER be ruled out... there are tons of tips and tricks out there ;).
