Yahoo Dillon set to shine at Sheffield – Bookmakers Stayers Preview
The Open Race entitled as ‘The Owlerton Bookmakers Stayers’ is set to be held at Sheffield greyhound racing track on Tuesday night, February 21.
Six hounds including Twittering Debs, Wise Genius, Yahoo Dillon, Ballymac Sally, Proper Pink and Stepaside Glenis will compete for £200 of prize money on 660m Flat track.
Out of these entries, Yahoo Dillon is the hot favourite for the Stayers title. On the other hand, Wise Genius and Proper Pink are expected to grab 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Here we present career snapshots of each of the trio in order to justify why they have been picked.
Yahoo Dillon
Following his two triumphs each in November and December 2011, H Crapper’s black dog won two more back-to-back races during the first half of February 2012. Apart from this, the novice runner won the first four races of his career in a row.
This outstanding track record shows that the dashing dog owns immense talent. He is expected to strike again tonight and complete his hat-trick by winning the Stayers. His chances to win are as high as 97 percent.
Wise Genius
The M Wainwright-trained black dog has achieved a couple of good victories since the dawn of 2012. By winning a race each in January and February, the three-year-old runner has boosted up his morale to a great extent.
The son of Westmead Joe out of Dukeries Lily registered an elegant hat-trick during April-May 2011. Wise Genius is expected to show enough wisdom in tonight’s contest as well. He is likely to finish 2nd.
Proper Pink
After her six back-to-back triumphs during May-October 2011, the white and blue b***h has won three races since the dawn of the calendar year. However, the trainee of A McKenna has been somewhat off-coloured since the start of February. That is the reason
she has not got a favourite tag. The daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Proper Lu Lu is supposed to grab the third top spot tonight.
Conclusion
Along with this trio, the other hounds also possess enough talent. Thus, the competition will be somewhat awe-inspiring. Come what may, Yahoo Dillon seems to be confident enough to wrest the first position. Let us get ready for the action. Good luck to all
the runners.
