Post Draft Players: Follow Waiver Rules

I was trying to set up the waivers to stop laptop junkies from instantly snagging Injured RB handcuffs, etc on Sundays, but I'm afraid all this setting did was put all undrafted players on a waiver for a day and now everyone is a free agent anyways.

Will this reset after opening day or is the waiver setting pretty useless for anything except for the days right after the draft or the unlikely event someone drops a player and two managers want that player?

  1. I am in the same boat. What we've done the last few years was lock the teams Sunday @1pm, everyone who wants to make acquisitions emails the commissioner and he manually drop/adds, then opens the league tuesday.

Stupid. Espn allows you to change it, why doesn't yahoo.

  2. It is to allow managers time to review the available players and make a claim based upon their waiver priority. I would guess that it is more relevant in baseball where you have minor league call-ups throughout the season.

But then, I don't know why you want to punish managers who are following the game and staying on top of what is happening.

    Good luck. Have fun.
