I am a member of two freecycle groups in MS.  I have not recieved/requested anything but have posted several offers and will be posting more soon as I continue to "downsize" things we don't use anymore.  What really annoys me, though, is when people are rude and picky about what you are offering.  I always explain my offers in great detail so everyone knows what I am offering and I still get rude and picky responses.  I will still continue to offer because I can choose who gets what I am offering and I am a sucker for helping people!

Yes, am member of one in the DFW area of Texas.  I always post an offer after receiving a wanted item to balance out my "give/get" postings.

I belong to three Freecycle groups: One for my hometown, one for my home county, and one for the town I work in (an hour away).

When my ex husband moved out, he left behind a ton of stuff. "Project" cars and materials, magazines, anything he didn't want to deal with. I've been cleaning, recycling, and Freecycling like crazy, so I've definitely given out more than I've gotten.

Two of the project cars are now someone else's project, but  two no one wanted, even for free (even the car donation places) and I had to have them towed.

I'm a member of the Lake Charles, LA group(even though I'm from Pt. Arthur,TX) And I've definitely GIVEN away more than I've received! I've made a few requests, but never got ANY follow-up emails. But I'm just glad I could help folks out!!!

I wish more people would join!!!Y'all listening out there!
