Yahoo! Go on an Orange SPV M600 how do I get a message alert sound?

Question

I am running the new Yahoo! Go 3.0, I have enabled push email and I want to get an alert sound when I get a new email, all I get at the moment is a little symbol is mail which means that I keep having to open it up to check.

This is a very specific problem although it may be the same on other windows smart phones, please don't reply if you don't have an spv or a windows phone.

Unless you set alerts on your phone with different tones.
