Yahoo ID - verify a different primary email?

Question

Yahoo apparently allows your Yahoo ID to use a different email address i.e. [e-mail] as a primary contact. I use yahoo groups and dont use my yahoo mail all the time. I have changed it to a different email,

yahoo has sent a email titled : Please Verify Your Email Address

The link does not work, neither doing it manually... does anyone know why it wont work or can help me fix it?

only way to fixit is to report it to yahoo
