Yahoo IM, I'm confusedd, helpp?

Question

I just made a new account but I made it with a @rocketmail.com instead of yahoo or ymail and I tried getting on the yahoo messenger and it said its invalidd, would I need to make it over again with @yahoo.com to get onto the IM?

when you sign into messenger, you have to type [e-mail]

You need to make sure you add "@rocketmail.com" to the end of your account name.
