Yahoo Jamie to dominate the William Hill Home Of Betting at Wimbledon on 15th May
The William Hill Home Of Betting will be hosted by Wimbledon over 480 metres flat on Tuesday, 15th May. Competing tonight are Lenson Mac, Be Real, Yahoo Jamie, Nastasi, Bridge Bandit and Millroad Scolari. The prize money set for the winner is £500.
The most convincing entry for the race is Yahoo Jamie, Droopys Vieri’s five-year-old black son out of b***h, Droopys Perlena. His seasonal debut was in the Local Parking Security Standard Division I on 10th January at Hall Green.
He ended as the 15/8 favourite runner up after racing for 28.94 seconds.
His first success of the season was in the Caffreys Standard Trophy – Heat 1 on 23rd January at Nottingham over 500 metres. The 4/7 favourite clocked the track distance in 30.26 seconds and led by 1 ¾ lengths.
Ever since April, the five-year-old has been active six times out of which four were victories.
Being the evening’s favourite, Yahoo Jamie won the Betfred.Com 480 metres Trophy on 2nd April at Nottingham over 480 metres. He took 29.01 seconds to settle the race and led the runner up, Farloe Lenson, by 7 ¼ lengths.
Coming at terms with the third position was Fabulous Pin.
On 16th April, the 4/5 favourite of the Corona 480 metres Trophy at Nottingham, won the race by timing the distance in 29.02 seconds. He had command of the final 5 ¼ lengths and was soon followed by White Coat.
Racing across the wire third in line was Ambleside Al.
For the first time during the season, Yahoo Jamie paired up victories by claiming the Stadium Bookmakers Standard Trophy on 23rd April at Nottingham over 500 metres.
The 4/7 favourite made it to the other end of the wire in 30.18 seconds and led by 3 ¼ lengths.
However, he could not strike a hat trick as he finished fourth in the race on 30th April. The Stadium Bookmakers Standard Trophy on 7th May at Nottingham saw him winning after racing for 30.14 seconds.
He has been busy accumulating wins throughout and has the highest of chances to leave an impact on the challenge tonight.
