When I try to play my radio, it just starts playing for about 6 seconds and then shows "buffering". Then it plays again for 6 seconds and shows "buffering" and so on... It's been doing this for a few days and i don't understand why.. My internet connection seems to be as good as usual... So what might be the problem?

  1. open up your windows media player, go to TOOLS then OPTIONS then Perfomance and set your buffering to 30 seconds or more

  2. that has been happening to me for a long time now. so i made a youtube account and right now i am listening to aerosmith. which isn't normal for me,but its a goof song that i never knew was theirs.

  3. look at this link:

George was giving you good advice unfortunately it didn't work.  If you are a Launchcast Plus or Unlimited user and are using High Quality, try regular to reduce bandwidth requirements.  As the article says, if your CPU is maxing out or you are downloading other stuff, stop that activity and see if it corrects your problem.  If none of that works, try upgrading your Windows Media Player (WMP) to WMP11.  Launchcast Radio uses WMP.  Yahoo has been dorking with the whole Launchcast Music Interfaces for several months now.  It could be their problem (slow servers, faulty code, who knows).

Try playing Launchcast Radio under Yahoo Music Jukebox.
