Yahoo Message Boards?

Question

I think they're trying to put this Yahoo Answers in place of the message boards. It stinks really because we used to be able to comment and get other peoples opinions on specific articles directly from yahoo news.

Do you really think that Yahoo was going to leave the Message Boards the way they were once that L.A. Attorney filed a lawsuit against Yahoo.

Yahoo is trying to cover their butts.

Yahoo message boards is still alive and well.  It just needs good people like you posting messages.

Y!Amlady, those yahoo boards that are still alive are more dead than anything else.. they have messages from 2000. Let's face it, Yahoo had a good thing going, now they have turn it into Romper Room. What they should have done is have everyone using the old boards use a credit card, then allow it to be a free for all. Instead they have out-edited themselves... I am sure this answer will be deleted too. They have decided not to allow the free thought process that debate or disagreement bring... They have turn into control freaks that are being egged on by anyone who dislikes any part of your message (aka "report abuse").

Really?  You think they're going to just ditch Yahoo Groups?  I can understand them not advertising them as much, but I'd be very suprised if they did away with those.
