  1. Yahoo Probably shut them down because of costs.  Google has been kicking Yahoo's butt and running those message boards, maintaining the server space costs a lot of money.  Silly Yahoo is keeping messages up for years, you can find stuff from 2000 if you search.  That is a waste of web space and money.

If I was running the news section of the message boards I would have shut them down long ago, but, I also enjoyed posting so as long as they were there I kept my home page on Yahoo.  Now I've switched to Google.

    Thanks

  2. Perhaps a technical overhaul?

  3. Seems they went down Aug 24th around 4:45 pm.  I was on political discussion this morning and noticed a current article went to a discussion board from 2002.

One would think Yahoo would release info, seems they are unconcerned with users questions.  I hope they are alerting the advertisers who paid to be on those forums *wink*

I right now am debating dumping everything Yahoo.  This including my hosting and domain services.  I believe in customer service and I've had troubles logging into my PAID services.

  4. Welcome to the Twilight zone,or did you realise you can't talk to anyone at Yahoo over the phone,

And if you ask your provider what city they are based in, you will not get an answer.

Ever hear of a movie called the conspirisy theory.
