When I try to play a song that is in My Music, I get this error:

"could not create new media"

Now what? I spent 15 minutes searching "customer care" (ha) and Yahoo Answers (which gives no answers).

How do I get helpful support for this product, Yahoo!?

  1. Reinstall Windows Media Player. No need to uninstall first, just reinstall over the old one

OK I am gonna wing and  so Gonna try and give you as much as I can

Error message "Unable to play media (unresponsive)"

You may see this error on occasion, when CPU usage is high, for whatever reason. Easiest thing to try is just hitting the Play button again. If that fails, close and restart the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.

If you have a Dell computer using Sigma Tel audio software -- especially on Vista -- and you are having problems playing tracks or seeing this error, try disabling all enhancements on the Sigma Tel driver:

    Vista:

Go to Control panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices

Select the Sigma Tel device and click Properties

Select the Enhancements tab and check the box 'Disable All Enhancements.'

Click OK until you are back where you started

    Windows XP:

    Go to ‘Control Panel’

    Choose ‘Sound’

Highlight the Sigma Tel device and choose ‘Properties’

Go to the ‘Enhancement’ tab, and click 'Disable all Enhancements'

Since I am not sure HOW you are trying to listen

    Yahoo messenger

    Jukebox

    or player

This is the best I can do

but would be happy to try and discuss if you like
