Yahoo music Jukebox does not recognize my cd drives. I have tried to contact support several times and this is my 3rd attempt here. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have deleted and reinstalled my ide controllers several times. All my other programs work fine. I am unable to rip or burn with music jukebox. Any suggestions. Where can I get a refund from yahoo after paying good money for such poor software and support.?

  1. Sorry Charlie, but you are not contacting Yahoo! by asking a question unless you get real lucky and a Yahoo employee reads your problem/question! To partially tell if YMJ knows about your CD, click Edit on YMJ, click Preferences, and on the Window (on the left) click CD.  See if that Window shows any of your drives (under Burn Options).  If it does, then you have to check your subscription and the music selected to make sure that you have the rights (DMR - digital management rights) to burn a CD. You might look at this help article:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/music/j...

If the Window does not show any drives, then contact Yahoo:

    http://yme.music.yahoo.com/qos/index.htm...

Again, you have to deal directly with Yahoo to get a refund.

You should upgrade to Windows Media Player 11 (WMP 11).
